Dena A. Kleeman

Lawyer

Dena A. Kleeman has practiced family law since her 1983 graduation from Stanford Law School, becoming a California Certified Family Law Specialist in 1994 and receiving specialized training as a divorce mediator in 1998. During the course of her career, Ms. Kleeman has handled complex divorce matters involving business valuation, divorce taxation, real property, and complex compensation, benefits, and intellectual property issues.

Ms. Kleeman currently serves as a judge pro tempore for the Los Angeles County Superior Court. She is a member of the ABA, the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. She served on the Board of Trustees of the Los Angeles County Bar Association from 2003 to 2004. She served as the Chair of the Family Law Section for the year 2024-2025, and remains active as immediate past chair, continuing to serve on the Legislative Subcommittee. She is also a member of PAC Women, an LA County Bar committee, that supports the advancement of women in the profession, including recommending judicial candidates to our bench. Ms. Kleeman has been named to Daily Journal’s “Top Family Lawyers 2025” list, the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, and as one of the top Family Law Attorneys in California by Super Lawyers since 2006. Ruth S. Kremen

Of Counsel

Ruth S. Kremen is an expert family law attorney with a broad and distinguished background that includes public service as well as law. Ms. Kremen graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1983. From 1983 to 1984 she was a law clerk for Honorable William B. Bryant of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Following her clerkship, she was litigation counsel at the Boston firm Nutter, McClennan and Fish.

Moving to California in 1985, She practiced general civil litigation including business, intellectual property, real property and family law, with the firm McGlashan & Sarrail in San Mateo. She moved to Los Angeles in 1991, limiting her practice to family law. She currently serves as a family law settlement officer and a Temporary Judge with the Los Angeles Superior Court. She has served as board member and President of the Child Care Resource Center of Los Angeles, a volunteer with the Harriet Buhai Center for family law and currently volunteers with Minds Matter Los Angeles, preparing high school students from underserved communities for entry to a four year college.

Robert Sainburg

Robert Sainburg received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles as a philosophy major. Mr. Sainburg received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. Mr. Sainburg brings a vast amount of experience to the firm having a strong background not only in family law, but years of experience in business and consumer litigation.

Mr. Sainburg has a distinguished career having an unblemished record with the State Bar of California, having co-founded the Glendale Bar Association Fee Arbitration Program, been a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee, having served as Judge Pro Tem, daily settlement officer, private mediator and fee arbitrator.

Mr. Sainburg works in all Courts in California regularly being consulted by other family law lawyers, as well as asked to be lead counsel when a team is required. Having a reputation for tenacity, dedication, integrity, and strategic lawyering, Mr. Sainburg has vigorously represented clients in cases throughout the State of California, in trial and appellate courts, and state and federal courts.

Daisy C. Larita

Associate Attorney

Daisy C. Larita is an Associate Attorney at Kleeman Kremen Family Lawyers. Ms. Larita received her Juris Doctor from the Southwestern University School of Law in 2022, and was admitted to the State Bar of California that same year. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2015. As an undergraduate, Ms. Larita served as a JusticeCorps intern and was assigned to work at the Los Angeles County Stanley Mosk Superior Courthouse in its Self-Help Center for Family Law. As a law student, Ms. Larita interned at the Children’s Law Center of California and the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law. She continues to volunteer at Harriet Buhai and is a member of their Pro Bono Panel. In addition to this clinical experience, Ms. Larita worked as a legal assistant to a Certified Family Law Specialist throughout law school, which she attended part-time in the evening. These opportunities have deepened Ms. Larita’s knowledge of family law issues from both practical and theoretical perspectives.

Ms. Larita is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Latina Lawyers Bar Association.

Ms. Larita is a native Spanish speaker. She is a first-generation Mexican-American, and is the first in her family to obtain a legal degree.
